Xinyue Liang

I am a research associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Hong Kong. I will begin my PhD in Autumn 2027 under the supervision of Prof. Zhongliang Jiang. I earned my Bachelor of Engineering from the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences (Yao Class) at Tsinghua University.

My research focuses on AI for Medicine, especially multimodal learning for medical video understanding, diagnostic report generation, and medical image analysis. I am also interested in generative computer vision and machine learning applications in science and engineering.

Research experience

• A Self-Reflective Iterative Framework for Ultrasound Video Understanding: my current work with Prof. Zhongliang Jiang in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Hong Kong.

Interests beyond research

I enjoy music, dance, choral performance and sports. I am previously a member of the Tsinghua University student chorus.
